'Play DVD' doesn't work right - splash sequence only, then exits, no menus.

Description

Play DVD (on the Jan 10 2008 release) does not work right.

It plays the DVD's splash sequence, then exits. It does not drop to the
menus which immediately follow when the same DVD is played in a
dedicated DVD player.

Please start the frontend from an xterm and try playing a DVD. Note any errors when it crashes. I've tested a unencrypted and a commercial DVD w/ R6 w/o issue. If it is a commercial DVD, have you install libdvdcss?

I've seen similar issues with the built in player and a DVD made with MythArchive.

I installed xine using pacman, but didn't end up with good keymaps for the app.
