Description
I have just recently installed 7.2 on a Lenovo T60 laptop and during installation I selected the Wireless option and did a static IP, but I still left eth0 turned on. Now that the O/S is up and running when I go into the menu to check the Network settings it says that eth0 is on and wireless is off. This is not the case as none of my Wireless settings are displayed and when I plug an Ethernet cable in it doesn't carry traffic.
So basicly the problem is the Network Settings are not a true reflection of the underlying Operating System.
History
Thanks for pointing this out, but sadly there isn't much that can be done.
The displayed network settings are whats stored in the database. If an external process changed the OS or the settings got lost the DB would also need to be updated.
